Children ages 3 – 5 have the opportunity to extend and enrich what they are learning in class in our Kids Computer Center. For an additional fee, children can enjoy two 30-minute sessions a week of computer instruction. NPA has five new Gateway Profile 6 desktops featuring the latest in preschool software, which such titles as Reader Rabbit Preschool, Arthur’s Treehouse, and Blue’s Clues ABC and Math series. Children learn to log onto their assigned computer and navigate to the area they are working on. Our computer instructor teaches proper computer vocabulary and use of the mouse, headphones, and handling of the disks. Children’s progress is monitored and reported to the parents via a weekly report.
