Our Fours class gives our older three and early fours a chance to experience a more structured environment akin to that of our Pre-Kindergarten class. Most 3 ½ year-olds are ready for new challenges, more involved stories, art, and projects. Learning the alphabet takes on new meaning as 3 ½ to 4 year-olds enjoy seeing what they say featured in print, such as dictating a caption for a picture they have drawn, or making a card for mom. In math, our Early Fours are exploring such concepts as one-to-one correspondence, patterning, and numeracy to 20. The calendar is a focal part of the morning Circle Time, where children practice counting, discuss the weather, and find out about holidays.

Our 4 year-olds are also eligible to begin our Kid’s Computer Program, one of NPA’s enrichment programs available.
