For the one year-olds, each new day is a new opportunity for exploration and adventure. Their newfound mobility has opened a fascinating world. Literally, the first steps toward independence are taken. Your child will be delighting you with his/her attempts to talk and enter into ‘conversations’.
Patience and understanding is crucial, especially when coping with the frequent and various mood swings of a toddler. Their zest for life can be catching – their delight for everyday things refreshing. At NPA we take advantage of this enthusiasm through art, music, and language building activities such as rhymes and finger plays. Movement and sensory activities help the developing one year-old to become better acquainted with his/her world.
